2012 in pictures and numbers:
2012 was an interesting year - it went somewhat similar to 2011 in terms of events attended and places visited. I was healthier running wise in 2012, going on more training runs, and even doing 2 races. Though right now I am feeling some left knee pain that I need to figure out how to make it go away so I can run again consistently. I hope to get back to run training consistently again, we'll see when that can happen again. Going on trips to Arizona, Tahoe, Coachella, Wisconsin/Minnesota, and Oregon were all really fun. The highlight by far of 2012 was going to the London Olympics - it was amazing, and it is my favorite trip I've ever gone on in my life, and likely will be my favorite that I'll go on forever. Epic times.
I tried to put a link to the post that talks about each picture if you want more detail on any picture.

What was your favorite memory of 2012 running or otherwise?

You saw some pretty phenomenal sporting events...so cool that you were able to go to the Olympics.
ReplyDeleteGlad 2012 was a better running year for you than last. Things are going in the right direction for you! 2013 had some good things in store for you. That knee pain needs to disappear ASAP!

ReplyDeleteOK, you just made my 2012 look really really lame. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun year! So many awesome places and experiences!
AWESOME photo journal! Not to be too critical, but not near enough pics of Sharapova ... just one man's opinion. It seemed like you were a lot healthier this year - here's to a healthy '13! Also, my favorite moment of you from 2012 was the Olympics also. When you set that world record in the 100M and then did the archer pose ... fantastic man! Good luck in 2016!
ReplyDeleteJust realized my wife posted right before me ... she totally saw the Sharapova comment didn't she.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great pictures on your travels this year. What a year for you - Olympics, hiking, football, and back to running! Happy new year!
